Places of Worship Wholesale
Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, Temples and other places of worship across the UK have been at the heart of Fairtrade’s success. By supporting Fairtrade, your place of worship becomes part of the global Fairtrade movement.
There are many ways to support Fairtrade although below are the two core requirements to be awarded Fairtrade Place of Worship status;
1 - Use Fairtrade products wherever possible (at least tea, coffee and sugar) and share information about Fairtrade products with the wider congregation.
2 - Integrate Fairtrade into the life of your place of worship, at Fairtrade Fortnight or other times of the year. For example through events, stalls and worship.
