Biona Organic Spelt Spaghetti - White. Praised in the 12th century by St. Hildegarde von Bingen as the best of grains, Spelt is one of the oldest cultivated grains (an ancient cousin of wheat). It has a high level of fibre, and also has a higher content of protein and vitamins than wheat. Although not gluten free, spelt can be tolerated by some people with wheat allergies.
Ingredients:
White spelt flour* *= Certified Organic Ingredients.
Cooking Instructions:
Place pasta in a large pan of boiling water (1lt for 100g pasta). Add salt to taste and simmer for 8-10mins, stirring from time to time. Strain and serve with Biona Organic pasta sauces.
