About the Ukama Community Foundation

The bread-making kits are produced by members of the Ukama Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization that empowers local women facing challenges such as disabilities or family responsibilities. By providing job opportunities within their homes, the foundation supports these women in earning a living and contributing to their communities.

In addition to the bread-making kits, the foundation also focuses on community welfare. They distribute food parcels to feed up to 400 children a day and operate ten soup kitchens in various local communities.
