MiFruta, established in 2008 with Traidcraft's assistance, is a cooperative of 30 small farmers who cultivate vine fruits. Pili, the daughter of Juan Contreras, a member of MiFruta, embodies the hope that fair trade brings for a better future.

Many are forced to sell their land and migrate to cities.
